FTX Update – 12 Jan 2012

HHC Members…below are notes from the conf call regarding the FTX on Jan 28 and 29. As part of the exercise, we have to establish the HHC at the LaMarque Armory on Friday night..and operate through Saturday evening.

I need reps from ALL of the S shops.. both officers and enlisted to participate in the FTX.

As per my prior email…need to know who will be attending ASAP.

Concerns…

Location of FTX and where will folks go

Everyone meet at LMA prior to FTX on Friday PM, including ST. Take as few vehicles as possible

 

Friday

ST- meet at LMA then go as AP recon to GBP, setup aide station,

 

Sat AM…

Hub Team will relieve ST sometime Sat. ST to return to LMA

CPT Gove (OIC) of Hub Team

Provide med support

ST members may have to support HT if not enuf participants

Wrap up HT ops and return to LMA

What level of support needed?

S1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 in own areas with ID (use OLS as example)

Inprocess folks on Friday pm

Need sleeping bags and tents for billeting

 

Training Ops at LMA for troops stationed at LMA

First Aid, D&C, land nav,

 

Concerns…

Internet access (air card )

MARS support for commo

Internet

Radio

4man teams (MAJ W and MAJ McC will help ID folks for hub team)

Need SM Kits and paperwork

Need to have training in place to keep troops busy… first aid training

ST to return to LMA on Sat afternoon – debrief

Hub Team to return to LMA on Sat PM – debrief

HHC will stand down afterwards
