Hey MRC Fort Bend County – It’s the opportunity we’ve been waiting for. It’s our last chance of the year to put those skills into action. We’ve got the place, the materials, and the hypothetical issue:
ANTHRAX
Now we need our Team Members to come together and show us how we can reach out to Fort Bend County in a public health emergency.
On or before October 22, 2011 you will get a call from Homeland Preparedness Project for our last Full-Scale POD Exercise of the year organized by the SNS Coordinators at Health and Human Services Fort Bend County.
Instructions for responding to the call:
You will receive a call from 877-698-3261, OneCallNow, and will be asked to answer one simple question,”Do you plan to participate in the October 22nd POD exercise?”
You will be prompted to press “1″ for YES and “9″ for NO.
Please make a selection before hanging up.
If you receive this call on an answering device, please call in to 877-698-3261 and follow the prompts to listen to our group’s most recent call. You will then be able to select a number and participate.
This exercise is very important to our program and will help us to ensure we can reach you when an actual emergency occurs. It also allows us to get YOUR input on our SNS strategies for Fort Bend County.
