Get Your Ham Radio License In One Day!

GCMRG Troops in need of a HAM license please note the following information. All relevant information is contained below including the course contact person.

If you have not taken a HAM license class and if for some reason you miss out on the class at AT, this is another opportunity to get your HAM license and in 1 Day.

Should you attend the class, please notify your local commander so you can receive orders (if necessary) and be given alternate drill credit. If you pass and get your license, be sure to forward a copy of your license to the S1 (1LT Dickerson or MAJ Willingham (during the LT’s maternity leave) so it can be included in your personnel file.

GET YOUR HAM RADIO LICENSE IN 1 DAY!!

If you would like to attend a one day intensive study course followed by the Technician Class License exam, please email Rick Broussard

at n5kjn@swbell.net.

Note that Morse code is no longer required for any class Amateur Radio License in the USA.

A one day study session/exam will be offered on Saturday, August 27th, 2011. The class will be held at the Alvin Community College in Alvin, TX. Course fee is $25.00 (cash) which includes $15.00 for the first exam. All materials are provided and there is no preparation required.

Pre-registration required.
