Headquarters Texas State Guard Announcement – May 18, 2011
The Commanding General is pleased to announce the selection of Colonel Don Prince as the Commanding General – Air Division, Texas State Guard, effective 17 May 2011.
Col Prince has been serving as the Interim Commanding General – Air Division, Texas State Guard since 15 February 2011.
Col Prince was also selected as the full-time Plans, Operations, and Training Officer for the Texas State Guard Headquarters on 1 October 2010. In November 2009, he was appointed as the 5th Air Wing Commander.
Col Prince currently resides in Austin with his wife Dorsey, and his four children.
